Gleichheit aller Schlesier

We strive for equality for all Silesians, regardless of origin, beliefs, social status, or language. Silesians come from various cultures – Polish, German, Czech – and, regardless of residence and history, feel a bond with the region and a shared identity.

Cultural and Historical Diversity

Silesia is a place of rich history and cultural diversity. It’s a region where Polish, German, Czech, and other traditions intertwine, with its people bearing traces of centuries of political and social transformations. Our commitment to equality for all Silesians, regardless of origin, language, beliefs, religion, or social status, is one of our core goals. For us, equality means creating a space where every Silesian can feel respected and valued as part of the community, regardless of personal experiences, language, or place of residence.

All Who Love This Land Are Silesians

Silesians are people of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Many are descendants of families who have lived here for generations, but Silesia has also become home to those who have come from different parts of the world. For us, a Silesian is anyone who loves this land, lives its everyday life, and proudly declares their belonging to this community. Whether someone arrived in Silesia ten years ago, or their family settled here a hundred, two hundred, or even five hundred years ago – all are equal members of this community. Love for Silesia and the declaration, “I am Silesian,” are enough to be and feel Silesian. No one has the right to question that.
